The right hose for a pump line

  • Green spiral suction hose: connects to the pump inlet and draws water from a well, pond or channel. The spiral reinforcement stops it collapsing under suction; 1″–8″.
  • Yellow spiral discharge hose: connects to the pump outlet and carries water to the field or a tank; 1″–4″.
  • Lay flat PVC hose: a light hose that flattens when empty and rolls up for transport; 3–4 bar working pressure, 1″–8″.

Prices are per roll; roll length is 6 to 100 m depending on the diameter. For the pump suction line see the plastic force pump, and for main lines our PE main line pipe.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between suction and discharge hose?

Suction hose is used on the inlet side of the pump to draw water, discharge hose on the outlet side to push it. Suction hose has stronger spiral reinforcement so it does not collapse under suction.

Are hoses sold by the metre?
